The subject of my artwork is people.  When I first started to do my art seriously, I used no subject matter in my work. But at one point for several years I was using the surreal method (seeing the subject in my tool marks). At this time most of my art turned out to be beings (these beings to me were people). This along with my surroundings (living in a city) caused me to start sketching people. Another aspect of my art is creativity. I like to use surreal and abstract elements in my work. This creativity makes it possible for me not to know how the finished work will look. This mystery is one of the great joys of my art. Artists of greatest influence are Max Beckman, Pablo Picasso and Reginold Marsh.
